Prairie Village
provides several options for seniors that are tailored to fit their particular
needs, and lifestyles, including 36 "assisted living" studios of different
sizes, and 24 "independent living" apartments, which are all available with
services, laundry, meals and activities that meet the needs of the residents.
Professional staff assist the family in selecting the living option that
best suits their needs, and is surprising affordable, considering all of
the services provided.
Developed by a local
Presbyterian Foundation, The Arter Group of affiliated companies provided
feasibility studies, development and financing consulting, architectural
design services, and construction management. After leasing was completed
following initial occupancy in 1993, Prairie Village has enjoyed full occupancy,
and for some of the most popular living units, a waiting list is maintained
from time to time. Prairie Village contains over 9 acres of landscaped
grounds, over 50,000 square feet on one level for easy access, with sun rooms,
card and lounge rooms, and other amenities are spread throughout the living
areas. Several dining areas, a library, chapel and community meeting
space are centrally arranged for the convenience of all.

the needs of all, but tailored to each person, with dignity and privacy,
